The Department of Public Health Sciences is seeking a Research Coordinator to support the activities of a research initiative designed to understand epidemiology of cancer. The incumbent is responsible for supporting the investigators in all aspects of these projects, providing coordination for the research teams; follows-up on, organizes, and conducts research meetings; and writes reports as needed.
The successful candidate will have a Masters of Public Health or related by the start date, as well as at least six years of research experience collecting, analyzing, and reporting on data. Course work in Epidemiology is also required. Relevant experience earned as a student will be considered. Candidates should have experience with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel), with data management and with statistical software (SAS, R, etc.).
Experience in cancer research and experience with regulatory and legal issues is preferred.
This position is restricted and is contingent upon the continuation of funding.
