Job description




The Communication Department at the University of Colorado Colorado Springs (UCCS) invites applications for a full-time Instructor position to begin in August 2018. Candidates must have experience teaching communication courses at the college level and be able to teach in the Professional, General or Sport Communication tracks.

The Communication Department offers undergraduate education in organizational and strategic communication, leadership, media studies, sports communication and digital film production. An M.A. in communication is also attainable in the department.

This full-time position includes a teaching load of 4 courses per semester (Fall and Spring) and a minimal service requirement. This position does not include teaching summer classes. Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:
Master's degree
At least one semester experience teaching communication at the college level

Preferred Qualification:
Master's degree or higher in Communication
