Job Summary:

Reporting directly to the Manager, Special Projects, the Executive Assistant manages the administrative and communication operations of the Dean's office. This includes managing the day-to-day complexities of the Dean of Continuing Studies and Vice Provost of Lifelong Learning administrative operations, managing communication and special events for the dean's office, oversight of special projects, and providing administrative support for other leaders in the Dean's office.
This position requires a high level of initiative, creativity and flexibility as well as exercising a high level of administrative analysis and problem solving. The person in the role must be highly organized and be able to communicate clearly across and within the Division, as well as with other key stakeholders on campus and off. This person must also have excellent oral and written skills and a customer service focus, as they will be working with numerous constituents in support of the Dean.


Schedule Comment:

Mon-Friday, 7:45-4:30 with a 45 minute lunch. Some flexiblity in start and end time, and occational work outside normal work hours may be required.
