Normal Work Schedule: Willingness to work within flexible schedule (i.e. day, evening) and at varied sites (i.e. on-campus, off campus) and in distance learning formats.

Job Responsibilities:

Performs maintenance related duties utilizing defined skills and exercise supervisory responsibility for a small work crew. Duties require multi and complex duties involving all aspects of plumbing, painting, HVAC, mechanical, electronic/electrical and carpentry duties. Duites include repair, trouble-shooting, installation and preventative maintenance measures. Must be skilled in using plumbing equipment, paint disciplines, making repairs or replacements as needed, and installing irrigation systems/controls. Duties may range from simple to complex building functions or assignments. 

Minimum and Additional Requirements:

An associates degree and two (2) years directly related work experience; or a high school diploma and four 94) years directly related work experience. Prefer supervisory skills and Journeyman Plumber license. Must have a strong background in plumbing, painting and general maintenance skills. Must have a valid SC driver's license. 

Additional Comments:

Position requires travel to county campuses and other business related trips; requires working flex hours (evenings/weekends) or as directed; and the ability to climb and lift 50+ lbs. Must comply with building code and safe work policies/procedures, be aware of confined space regulations, and be able to detect color cariations dealing with paint assignments.
