Normal Work Schedule: Willingness to work within a flexible schedule (i.e. day, evening) and at varied (i.e. on-campus, off campus).

Performs maintenance related duties utilizing defined skills and exercise supervisory responsibility for a small work crew. Duties require multi and complex duties, ranging from simple to complex building functions/assignments, involving all aspects of plumbing, painting, HVAC, mechanical, carpentry, roofing, and lock maintenance measures. Requires skills with plumbing equipment, paint disciplines, making repairs or replacements as needed, and installing building framing systems.
Minimum and Additional Requirements:
An associate degree and two (2) years related work experience; or a high school diploma and four (4) years directly related work experience. Prefer computer skills, supervisory skills, and Journeyman Carpentry license. Must have a strong background in Carpentry, door & associated hardware and general maintenance skills. Must have a valid SC driver's license.
Requires travel to county campuses and other business related trips, possibly overnight, to attend workshops or trainings ;requires working flex hours (evening/weekends) or as directed. Must have the ability to climb and possible lifting up to 50 lbs. Must comply with building code and safe work policies/procedures, be aware of confined space regulations and general safety.
