Brief Summary of Work for this Position:
Recruit new students from two-year colleges. Responsible for both in-state and out-of-state transfer recruitment activities to include private visits to junior and community colleges as well as regional and national college fairs. Participation in transfer admission yield activities both on and off campus. Provide advising to prospective students with regard to transfer admission policies and procedures, transferability of credit and graduation requirements based on pre-admission evaluation of credit.
N.C. Minimum Required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
Bachelor’s degree; or equivalent combination of training and experience. All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions.
Additional knowledge, skills, and abilities required to perform the essential functions of the position:
Must be proficient in computers
Ability to process applications in a timely manner
Ability to work as part of a team to achieve common goals
Preferred education, professional skills and experience:
Previous admissions experience preferred
Working knowledge of the policies and procedures of the NC University system and the University of North Carolina Wilmington
Recruitment Range: $40,000 - $42,182
NC Salary Grade Equivalency: 67
Hours Per Week: 1.0 (40 hours per week)
Months Per Year: 12 Months
Work Days: Monday - Friday
Work Hours: 8:00AM - 5:00PM
