Data Scientist/Pharmacy

Job description



The College of Pharmacy, Department of Pharmacy Practice & Science at the University of Kentucky invites applications for Data Scientist with focus in the area of healthcare.

The successful applicant will have strong SQL and SAS programming skills in addition to working knowledge and experience using other statistical analysis tools such as R, SPSS, and STATA; demonstrate problem solving, analytical reasoning and decision-making skills; have a strong understanding and experience in researching and resolving data issues with a logical, instinctive, and problem-solving mentality working with large, complex and incomplete sources; and exhibit strong project management skills, with an ability to work independently on multiple projects with competing priorities and a strong commitment to meeting goals and deadlines.

Applicants must have a PhD in Pharmacy or Health Sciences, or a PharmD, with 3 years of experience.
