Position Summary

The Athletics Department is seeking qualified applicants for a University Program Associate position.

Primary duties and responsibilities include:

  • Coordinating game operations and Special events that take place in the athletic venues on the campus of UNC Greensboro;
  • Consulting with coaches and Associate Athletic Director (AD) for facilities to prepare for athletic competition and practices by lining field, setting goals, dragging fields etc.;
  • Creating daily task list for all staff to help prepare facilities for practices and competitions;
  • Assisting with the operation of all athletic concession stands;
  • Oversight of the supervising and scheduling of event staff and student workers for setup, conversion and operation of all sporting events and maintenance operations;
  • Responsibility for all Athletic Key Codes and issues of keys; works closely with Facilities in assigning keys to correct building/location;
  • Supervising workforce to assist with facility cleaning and maintenance using numerous tools and equipment;
  • Will work closely with Associate AD for Facilities as well as facility operations staff and campus emergency management to ensure that the events are set to completion as well as safe for spectators and participants;
  • Performing other duties as assigned by supervisor.


Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree; or equivalent combination of training and experience. All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions.



Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree
  • 2-3 years' experience in facilities


Alternate Option
