Responsibilities

The Department of Psychology invites applications for a Lecturship in Psychology, a half-time position to teach 2 courses each semester and engagement with the department. Responsibilities include teaching General Psychology and other courses as assigned. The department offers a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a Forensic Psychology minor.


Minimum Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications: Master's degree in any area of psychology (or related discipline); commitments to teaching and service are essential.


Preferred Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications: Doctoral degree in any area of psychology (or related discipline). Teaching and/or professional experience in psychology or counseling.

Responsibility / Duty

Teaching/Advising: Faculty will be able to teach courses in the Department of Psychology. Candidate must be committed to program development and monitoring course content and course implementation. Maintains appropriate office hours and advises students on program requirements as well as professional development/career opportunities.

Supports the Department of Psychology with engagement, community outreach and other department projects and events.
