The Frank Batten School of Leadership and Public Policy seeks a National Security Policy Center Coordinator to support operational functions including fiscal administration, procurement, academic programming, research, student services, communications and grants administration. The Coordinator serves as the initial contact point of center contact for students, parents, staff, and faculty. They assist with center outreach, education, and research. The incumbent also maintains office calendars and coordinates special events and meetings.
A High School Diploma is required, and a Bachelor's degree is preferred. At least one year of experience in a professional administrative support role is essential. The ability to follow established policies and adhere to regulatory guidelines is required. The Coordinator must have strong oral and written communication skills. A proven ability to independently research, analyze, evaluate and present information is required. The ability to follow directions, and work effectively both as part of a team and independently is required, as is the ability to provide direct support to leaders. Knowledge of basic computer applications and software programs (e.g. Microsoft Office and Outlook) is required.
* This is a one year term limited position - continuation is dependent on funding and satisfactory performance. *
