Responsibilities

Responsible for managing and implementing plans developed by the Center's Directors for FSU Real Estate Center events including conferences, symposia, forums, board meetings, and alumni events. Oversees event experience and liaises with appropriate College event staff and external service providers to accomplish the Center's high event standards.

Execute Real Estate Center daily operating activities within the vision of the program director. Manage the internal administrative preparedness of the center. Work with the College's web designer to maintain the Center's website. Manage the maintenance and upkeep of internal databases.

Assist Center Directors' communications with external constituents, including the Center's advisory board. Organize conference calls and meeting dates. Assist in preparing materials and correspondence for board meetings.

Oversee and coordinate the processing of donor gifts, sponsor contributions, board member contributions, expense items, reimbursements and reporting activities. Responsible of interpreting University and FSU Foundation policies, ensuring regulatory compliance with policies and procedures. Maintain necessary communications with FSU Foundation, the dean's office, and departmental offices.

Assist with faculty and student needs for on and off-campus events. Support the department's internal real estate scholarship process.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree and four years' experience, or a combination of post high school education and experience equal to eight years.

Experience with event planning and ability to coordinate, organize and evaluate meetings and/or events.

Experience with public and/or alumni relations practices.

Pay Plan

This is an A&P (Administrative and Professional) position.

Soft Money Funded Position

This is a soft money funded position, with renewal based on available funds and the needs of the University.

Criminal Background Check

This position requires successful completion of a criminal history background check. The background check will be conducted as authorized and in accordance with University Policy 4-OP-C-7-B11.
