Administrative Analyst

This position is only available to current UCI employees.

Under the general supervision of the Asst. Operations Manager, and as part of Executive Business
Office Team, the Administrative Analyst provides purchasing, reimbursement and procurement
support for the units under the Office of the Chancellor and the Office of the Provost and Executive Vice Chancellor. The Administrative Analyst independently evaluates and processes requisitions and reimbursements. Purchase transactions range across a wide variety of research and office materials, services, and equipment. Reimbursements and disbursements are similarly varied and frequently complex, including international travel, events involving service or performance contracts, business meetings, incentive payments, honoraria, awards, gifts, and other miscellaneous forms of payments. Procurement responsibilities include but are not limited to identifying potential vendors, obtaining quotations, evaluating proposals, coordination with Procurement and Risk Services, and problem resolution related to order, delivery, returned goods, and/or billing. Responsibilities include extensive knowledge of University policies and procedures as they pertain to procurement, accounting and business rules.

The Office of the Chancellor units supported by this position include the Chancellor's official residence, Tierney University House; the Office of Campus Counsel; the Office Equal Opportunity and Diversity; and the Office of the Chancellor. The Office of the Provost and Executive Vice Chancellor includes the Office of Inclusive Excellence, the Office of Academic Planning, the Office of Academic Personnel, the Office of the Ombudsman, the Academic Senate, the Institute and Museum for California Art (IMCA) project, the Office of Sustainability, and the Office of Global Engagement.

Salary: Hourly $23.58 (minimum) - $27.82(midpoint)
Total Hours: 8:00 a.m. 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, with occasional over time hours in order to meet the operational needs of the office.
