The Department of Computer Science (CS) at the University of California, Irvine (UC Irvine) invites applications for an Adjunct Professor position. We are particularly interested in candidates with expertise in the areas of the internet-of-things (IoT), self-aware adaptive software and hardware systems, and energy-efficient systems, with applications to healthcare.

Must be self-funded and have demonstrated track record for: developing and maintaining externally funded research program; and collaborations with nursing and medical schools. Prospective applicants are invited to visit our webpage at

Applicants should hold a PhD in Computer Science, Information Technology, or in a related field. Screening will begin immediately upon receipt of a completed application. Applications will be accepted until the position is filled, although maximum consideration will be given to applications received by June 4, 2018.
