AGACNP

Job description

Teaches and mentors students in the AGACNP specialty area, advises students, works collaboratively with nursing colleagues and colleagues from other disciplines, performs local clinical site visits, maintains active involvement in professional organizations related to specialty area, and actively seeks opportunities for and participates in GW School of Nursing and faculty governance.

Applicants should have: (1) a doctorate in nursing, education, public health or related field by date of application; (2) certification as an AGACNP; (3) eligibility for unencumbered DC and VA APRN nursing licensure; (4) experience working with diverse and underserved populations; (5) NP experience in adult-gero acute care within the last 1-2 years; and (6) one or more years of online teaching experience at the college or university level.
