Visiting Assistant Professor/Instructor (two positions available) to teach courses in the Family Science undergraduate program using both online, hybrid, and face-to-face course formats.  Course may include, but are not limited to, Diverse Family Systems Across the Life Cycle, Research and Evaluation Methods, Child Development, Adolescent Development, Social Welfare Policy, Human Behavior and the Social Environment, Couple Relationships, Child Life Theory and Practice, and Therapeutic Play. The person in this position will be responsible for teaching a full-load of courses each semester. Responsibilities may also include committee work, student advising and other duties/responsibilities as assigned by the Department Chair.

Require:  Earned master's degree (for appointment as instructor) or PhD (for appointment as visiting assistant professor) in Family Studies/Science, Human Development, Social Work, Health Promotion, Child Life, or a related field.

Desire:  PhD with earned degree in Family Studies/Science and Human Development or related field. Certification as a Child Life Specialist and a minimum of two years of paid child life experience. Demonstrated record of teaching excellence. Experience with online teaching, skills to incorporate technology in teaching, and knowledge of and experience with multicultural population
