Advertised Job Summary
This position will serve as the Business Manager for the Office of the Associate Dean for Research and Graduate Education in the School of Medicine. The position will be responsible for office oversight of all finances and operational activities and will serve as supervisor for all departmental administrative staff.Minimum Qualifications (Classified and Unclassified positions)
Master's degree and 2 years or bachelor's degree and 4 years relevant experience in business, public administration or administrative services.Preferred Qualifications
Experience with PeopleSoft Accounting Systems. Experience with university policies and procedures. Experience with Microsoft Office and creating complex worksheets in Excel.Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
Knowledge of office management policies, practices and procedures. Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in written form. Ability to handle multiple concurrent tasks. Ability to deal effectively with the public, faculty, staff and others in handling inquiries and communicating information. Required to conduct business lawfully and ethically by consistently adhering to compliance policies, procedures and regulations.
