Job description

Duties: The Psychosis Evaluation and Recovery Center within Neuropsychiatry Division at the University of Pennsylvania is seeking a Clinical Research Coordinator to coordinate intake and assessment of patients for Comprehensive Specialty Care and associated treatment and research studies. The Coordinator will work within a collaborative treatment team and interact with researchers who pursue studies using novel treatments MRI, EEG and biomarkers. The coordinator will assist in recruitment, screening and assessment of potential participants, and scheduling of visits. The Coordinator will also be responsible for the maintenance of project databases.

Qualifications: A BA/BS in Psychology/Education/Counseling or related field and 1-3 years of experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience, are required. Experience working in a clinical setting is preferred. The candidates must have strong organizational, communication, writing, and computer skills. Effective problem-solving abilities. Ability to multi-task. Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team as well as independently. Knowledge of IRB and human research
protection regulations. Must pass Pennsylvania's Child Protective Services Act (also known as Act 73) background checks, within 30-90 days of employment.
