Assistant Professor of Lighting, Sound Design & Technology #000556
Posting Information: The School of Stage and Screen at WCU combines training for both film and television and theatre. This is a 9 month tenure-track or term faculty position, depending on qualifications, for lighting and sound design and technology. The faculty member will teach courses and design or mentor lighting and sound design for the School of Stage and Screen theatrical productions and will advise film productions as assigned.
Minimum Training & Experience Requirements: MFA in Lighting Design or MFA in Sound Design with significant professional experience in both.
Preferred Qualifications: Three years of teaching at the University level. The ability to work diplomatically and collaboratively within a school that encompasses multiple disciplines.
