Director of Graduate Student Recruitment, Mentoring and Success

Essential Job Duties: This will be an administrative position that will report to the Associate Dean for Faculty and Academic Affairs. The person in this position will also be expected to work directly with the Associate Dean for Student Success and Strategic Community Engagement, Department Heads, Directors of Graduate Programs, and the Director of Knowledge Management and Assessment in ensuring graduate student success and assessing graduate programs. In general, the position will focus on recruitment (30%), graduate student and program support (60%), and assessment of graduate programs (10%).
Minimum Education/Experience: PhD or EdD in Education or related field Experience working with or training adults

Preferred Experience, Skills, Training/Education: A keen understanding of the role of a faculty member at a research intensive university Experience mentoring graduate students at a research intensive university
Necessary Licenses and Certifications: A valid North Carolina driver's license or the ability to obtain one within 60 days of start date.
