MARKETING ASSISTANT, PENN PRESS
Duties: University of Pennsylvania Press, publisher of scholarly and semipopular books and journals, seeks a marketing assistant to coordinate the exhibits program and provide comprehensive administrative support for the marketing department. Reports to the marketing director.
Qualifications: High-school graduate plus two years' related experience (additional education may substitute for some experience). College degree strongly preferred.
Requires excellent oral, written, and interpersonal skills. Computer aptitude and fluency with Macintosh computers, wordprocessing, spreadsheet, and desktop publishing and database software essential. InDesign and HTML experience helpful. Internship or other background in scholarly publishing desirable. Must be highly energetic, organized, able and willing to handle a large variety of tasks and details.
