Director of M.S.-Finance Program and Assistant Teaching Professor (one position)
Assistant Teaching Professor: One non-tenure-track position starting August 20, 2018 or other mutually agreeable date. Commitment to excellence in teaching required. Ability and willingness to teach an array of courses in finance are necessary. Ability and willingness to teach online is necessary, and prior online teaching experience is preferred.
Director of MS in Finance:
- Promote the program to employers and organizations
- Coordinate instructors for the program
- Advise students on curriculum
- Recruit students
- Work with advancement to raise funds for scholarships to the program
Candidates should have the following qualifications:
- PhD in Finance or related field prior to the starting date
- Prior teaching experience
- A track record of excellence in teaching
Screening will begin immediately and will continue until a suitable candidate is hired.
The Department: The Department of Finance has a current enrollment of about 500 junior and senior finance majors for the BS in Business Administration degree. The department participates in the MBA program, has an active PhD program, and will be launching the M.S.-Finance Program in fall 2018.
