The LCCC created a Program Project, Center and Training Grants Team to support interdisciplinary research groups of investigators at LCCC, as well as collaborating institutions (e.g., Duke University, Washington University, Dana Farber Cancer Institute), in submitting complex grant applications. The Program -Team Science Specialist is responsible for submitting complex grants and to ensure all sponsor guidelines and expectations of such mechanisms are met. This position will work on multiple, yet unique, complex grant application. They coordinate and communicates with research team members (e.g., Faculty principal investigators and co-investigators, and non-faculty project managers, departmental administrators, business officers, accountants from academic departments in Schools of Medicine, Pharmacy, Public Health, Nursing, and College of Arts and Sciences and their counterparts from collaborating institutions), institutional research administration officials (Office of Sponsored Research and Sponsored Projects Office, Institutional Review Board and Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee and their counterparts from collaborating institutions) and sponsors (e.g., National Institutes of Health, Merck, American Association for Cancer Research, V-Foundation, Komen). This position will help lead all collaboration efforts in pre and post nonfinancial award administration.
