This is a part-time, temporary, non-benefit based position with an assignment end date of December 23, 2018 with a possibility of reappointment. Two openings currently available.
Job Description:
Copley Library's Department of Collections, Access and Discovery seeks two energetic and enthusiastic Weekend Supervisors. The Weekend Supervisor is responsible for all access services while on duty and provides excellent customer service to faculty, students, and other library users while maintaining a professional, positive demeanor at all times. In addition to shelving books and assisting with other services, this person is expected to maintain a safe and quiet study environment in the library, secure the building (including setting alarms) when closing, as well as follow and enforce all library policies. This person works up to 19 hours per week (Friday-Sunday) and reports to the Access and Outreach Services Librarian.

Background check: Successful completion of a pre-employment background check required.
Salary: $16.00 per hour.
Hours: Position one: Friday 5pm-9pm, Saturday 10am-6pm, and Sunday 11:30am-6:30pm. Positon two: Friday 5pm-9pm, Saturday 1pm-9pm, Sunday 10pm-2am. Must be able to work alternative weekend hours for two weeks each semester during our 24/7 study period and be flexible to accommodate abbreviated hours of operation during the summer.
