Student Engagement Coordinator

Job description

The Student Engagement Coordinator provides leadership on all Career Center sponsored career education taking place outside of the classroom and curriculum. The employee in this position oversees the Career Peer educator program, developing undergraduate students to provide first-line career education for peers within the Career Center. The Coordinator utilizes career development and strengths theories to expand the scope of the program. The employee develops and leads career programming in collaboration with student affairs. The Student Engagement Coordinator develops and implements outreach plans for the Career Center to provide career education to students underserved and not currently impacted by present initiatives. The employee in this position is expected to collaborate with both the employer relations and career coaching teams to achieve goals. The employee measures and assesses all efforts for continuous improvement.
