Job Summary


The position provides support as the primary contact for the grant and provides assistance to the program outreach and intake activities.


Duties & Responsibilities


•Provides support to the daily operations of the grant
•Conducts intakes for clients and assists with the application preparation and submission
•Provides assistance with outreach activities and tracking and recording information
•Collaborates with team members in the development and implementation of program strategies
•Attends meetings and in service training sessions, as required
•Assists in coordinating grant appointments
•Follows up with students, immediate household members and agencies regarding referrals and outcomes
•Performs other duties as assigned


Minimum Requirements


•Bachelor's degree in a related field from a regionally accredited institution; or Associate's degree in a related field from a regionally accredited institution and two (2) years of related experience; or thirty (30) credits and three (3) years related experience
•All degrees must be from a regionally accredited institution
•Knowledge and understanding of College organization, goals and objectives, and policies and procedures
•Possess strong understanding of grant and social service programs
•Ability to make proper referrals
•Possess strong oral and written communication skills
•Possess excellent interpersonal skills and communication skills
•Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet grant objectives
•Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and other related computer programs
•Possess organizational and problem solving skills
•Ability to work a flexible schedule which may include evenings and weekend assignments
•Ability to work effectively in a multi-ethnic and multi-cultural environment with students, faculty, and staff
