The Web Project Manager will provide front-end web development support that combines the art of design with the art of programming to create complex interactive experiences for University websites, digital marketing solutions, applications and software.

This position will execute the design of digital solutions working collaboratively with the web development team, marketing team, software engineers, multimedia specialists and social media specialists.

This role requires broad knowledge and advanced skills in search engine optimization, ADA compliance, user experience, user interface, HTML, JavaScript, JQuery and CSS coding, and a solid understanding of available client-side technologies.

Qualifications:

-Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field. 
-3-5 years of work experience in web coding and translating UI/UX design into digital experience.
-A strong portfolio of work that demonstrates a technical skill and passion for developing responsive and mobile friendly websites and digital solutions. 
-Proficiency in HTML Coding, CSS, JavaScript, Adobe CC, Microsoft Office and the willingness to explore new tools. 
-Intimate knowledge of how comps translate to code. 
-Experience in using and interpreting Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and tools to track and measure the web experience. 
-A strong understanding of current design trends and the practical benefits and limitations of digital technologies. 
-A combination of strong conceptual thinking and strategic skills with an ability to understand customer needs, motivations and behaviors and translate them into actionable deliverables. 
-Knowledge of WCAG 2.0 accessibility guidelines. 
-Excellent verbal and written communication skills.  
-Resourceful self-starter who can work independently and translate feedback and direction into successful solutions in a timely manner. 
-A high degree of professionalism and strong work ethic coupled with a sense of responsibility, ability to work well with others  and integrity.
-Ability to work under minimal supervision, tight time constraints and periodic high-volume circumstances.
