Position Description

Advertised Job Summary

The project coordinator will coordinate all program activities for the Innovative Service Design in Behavioral Health Organizations Training Program in the UofSC College of Social Work. Working with a diverse team of faculty, staff and students, the coordinator will provide supervision, planning, and project management to deliver an online and in-person training program to behavioral health providers statewide.

Minimum Qualifications (Classified and Unclassified positions)

A bachelor's degree Social Work, Public Administration, Public Health, Business, Public Relations or a related field or high school diploma and 4 years related program experience.

Preferred Qualifications

Masters degree in Social Work, Public Administration, Public Health, Business, Public Relations or a related field.
Formal Project Management certification, such as a Project Manager Professional (PMP) certification through the Project Management Institute (PMI).
Experience delivering online and in-person training programs.


Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
Ability to work well with large and diverse teams. Experience with project management practices and tools to create, manage, and track project performance, cost, verify scope. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Experience and working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, Office 365 and others.
