Provide a welcoming environment for internal and external constituents for the College of Education and Social Services (CESS) as both the first point of contact in the Dean's Office and through social media. Provide high-level administrative support for the CESS Associate Deans, and other Dean's Office administration as needed, as well as work collaboratively with the Dean's Executive Assistant to provide backup support for the Dean, maintaining sensitive and confidential information. Contribute to the diversity and excellence of the College and University. Assist other CESS departments as needed. This position reports to the Assistant Dean for Finance and Administration.
Minimum Qualifications (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
Associates degree and one to three years office experience and working knowledge of software applications including Microsoft Word, Excel, Adobe Creative Suite, web content management platform, and multiple social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube) required. Accurate keyboarding skills required. Effective communication and collaboration skills, interpersonal, and organizational skills, as well as multitasking and analytical skills required.
