Laboratory Technician

Job description

The College of Agriculture, Food and Environment Veterinary Diagnostic Laboratory seeks a Laboratory Technician. This position will function as a floater in a variety of clerical, administrative and lab functions. Under the supervision of the Administrative Services Associate, this employee provides media services, back-up to the reception area, as well as assisting the business office and multiple lab areas during busy periods, times of shortage or as needed. The position is located at the Coldstream Research Campus off Newtown Pike.

Physical Requirements

Occasional handling of items up to 50 lbs. Some days, extended periods of sitting will be required.


8:00 AM to 5:00 PM; Monday - Friday (40 hrs/wk).

Preferred Education/Experience

Veterinary or clinical as well as Receptionist/Front Desk experience is preferred. LIMS experience also preferred.
