    Postdoctoral Scholar - Wang Lab

A Postdoctoral Scholar position is available in the Department of Developmental and Cell Biology to study the molecular mechanism in organ size control and cancer development.

Our lab is interested in the signaling network centered on the Hippo pathway in tissue homeostasis and organ size control as well as its dysregulations in tumorigenesis. On one hand, we investigate the cellular regulation and function of the Hippo pathway in growth control; on the other hand, we explore the therapeutic potential by targeting this key tumor suppressor pathway for cancer treatment. Research projects and the related reagents are both available to ensure a quick start in our lab.

We are seeking a highly motivated and independent candidate with research expertise in biochemistry, molecular biology, cell biolgy and cancer biology. The ideal candidates is a recent or up and coming graduate with a PhD or MD/PhD degree, also with the clear career goal to become an independent Principle Investigator in future. A track record of excellent first author publication(s) is desired.
