Position Summary:

Incumbent acts as a senior analyst for the departments of Quality and Patient Safety and Epidemiology & Infection Prevention. Incumbent provides high level administrative oversight of organization-wide quality and patient safety committees Provides analysis and supplementary oversight to assigned cost centers/budgets.

Salary Range:

Rate Minimum $57,400.00 Maximum $97,300.00

Required Qualifications:

Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships across the HealthSystem

Ability to maintain a work pace appropriate to the workload

Ability to work flexible hours and flexible locations including evenings and weekends

Effective verbal and written communication skills in English

Excellent attention to detail

Excellent computer skills and a thorough working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (e.g. Word, Excel, Powerpoint)

Minimum 5 years experience working in progressively more complex analytical/support roles within a healthcare unit

Must demonstrate customer service skills appropriate to the job

Must possess the skill, knowledge and ability essential to the successful performance of assigned duties

Must understand basic hospital/surgical budget, billing, and cost accounting functions

Preferred Qualifications:

Knowledge of University and medical center organizations, policies, procedures and forms

Previous experience with budget responsibilities, such as oversight and evaluation, within a work setting

Previous experience with committee management

Understanding of the basic functions provided by the Quality, Patient Safety and Infection Prevention
