Summary of Duties:
We're seeking a highly motivated, dynamic, skilled employee to join our team as a Fiscal Specialist 1 in Pullman, WA!

As part of Human Resources Services (HRS), the primary function of this position is fiscal analysis and reporting of multiple employee benefit and retirement plans for approximately 6,600 eligible employees. The incumbent must enter and ensure data integrity of employee benefit and retirement data in multiple university, state and vendor systems. Under general supervision, the incumbent must demonstrate the ability to organize workload, use independent judgment in problem solving, provide effective management for complex benefit fiscal activity, and possess strong interpersonal skills for effective communication.

Duties include reviewing, approving, processing fiscal-related functions for the Deferred Compensation Plan; monitoring retirees who have been rehired, processingTIAA (WSURP and VIP) retirement; and inputting benefit forms into the state's Pay1 system and HEPPS in accordance with regulations and processing schedules.

Required Qualifications:
Three years of fiscal record keeping experience; OR equivalent education/experience.
