The Jesup Scott Honors College (JSHC) at the University of Toledo (UT) invites applications for an Assistant Lecturer with an expected start date of August 20, 2018.

The JSHC provides an academically challenging experience for high-ability UT students from all majors with an emphasis on interdisciplinary thinking and community engagement. With other lecturers and tenure track faculty, the successful candidate will join a small, highly collaborative community of passionate educators.

This is an entry level, 9-month Assistant Lecturer position with standard teaching and service responsibilities as outlined in the Faculty Collective Bargaining Agreement.  

We seek an outstanding individual with interdisciplinary interests, demonstrated excellence in teaching that emphasizes active learning pedagogies, experience in community engagement, and an MA or Ph.D. in a field within the Humanities.
