Responsibilities:
This position will work in close collaboration with the Principal Investigator on the execution of several federal and private research grants. In collaboration with the PI, the Research Project Manager will develop project plans and milestones, and help ensure execution of these plans, as well as ensuring that all grantor contractual requirements are met. The candidate will be responsible for identifying issues and potential bottlenecks within projects and propose potential solutions and/or options for efficiency. Other responsibilities will include: tracking, forecasting and reporting on grant budgets, hiring and supervising (in collaboration with the PI) student research assistants, assisting in preparation of reports to granting institutions and publication manuscripts, and other administrative tasks related to grant execution.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree required, master’s preferred. Must have 1-3 years experience working in an office environment and supervisory experience. Strong skills in project management.
