Position:
The College of Education invites applications for two non-tenure track, 10-month Lecturer positions in the Department of Special Education beginning August, 2018.

Qualifications:
Graduate degree in Special Education or closely related field. Minimum of 3 years teaching experience in a certificated elementary, middle and/or high school position. Undergraduate/graduate teaching and supervision experience and/or resource/administrative experience. Commitment to collaboration with public schools.

Responsibilities:

Faculty assigned standard instructional workload of eight course units per academic year (4 course units/semester). Teach four 3 credit special education courses and/or supervise internship placements in various instructional settings. Participate in COE and/or department committees and attend monthly COE and department meetings. Teach and supervise Elementary/Middle and Secondary/Adult undergraduate programs in special education, and may also include teaching in the Master of Education (MEd) and Master of Arts in Teaching (M.A.T.) programs at the graduate level. Recruitment of students, possibly student advising, membership and participation in COE and department committees, and/or teaching both undergraduate and graduate classes in other special education programs. Both positions are for the Elementary/Middle and Secondary/Adult programs on the Towson University main campus.
