Performs senior level duties in maintaining various accounting records for a dept or college.

The Accountant III for Accounts Payable and Travel will provide strategic operational support to the Director, Managers and Accountant I & II team members. Primary responsibilities include daily workflow coordination, distribution and monitoring to ensure timely payment processing of payments. Additional responsibility for report retrieval, analysis, research, and resolution of errors.

Effective communication and organizational skills are essential to ensure various stakeholders are updated regarding the status of payments, documentation and report requirements, purchase order requirements, and other information needed to ensure timely payment processing. The candidate should be prepared to manage daily tasks in conjunction with assigned projects such as website updates, document creation and review, or data analysis.

The minimum hourly rte for this position is $18.51

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree and 3+ years bookkeeping or accounting experience.

  • Intermediate to advanced Excel Skills
