This position is mainly responsible for implementing, conducting, and creating training and education for all employees of Facility Services. It will also create a training protocol to help standardize and gain consistency within the University campus (60%). This position will coordinate supply and equipment inventory while assisting in selection, distribution, and reporting of all equipment purchased by facilities services (15%). It will also conduct building and equipment inspections weekly to help achieve a consistent and safe environment for students, faculty, and staff (15%). It will also supervise the Repair Technician to ensure all equipment is properly maintained, distributed, and purchased with the best need of the department in mind (10%). This position is considered essential and may be asked to work some nights and weekends.
This position is a mandatory position as defined in the Adverse Weather and Emergency Event Policy.

Bachelor's degree; or equivalent combination of training and experience. All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions. High School Diploma or GED
College Education or equivalent experience
Five years experience working in Housekeeping, preferably in a university environment
3 years advanced experience in maintenance or operation of housekeeping equipment
2 years advanced experience of floor care and cleaning
Demonstrated knowledge of institutional cleaning procedures
Valid Driver's License Required
