Job Description
The Division of Enrollment management at the University of North Texas is seeking to hire an Assistant Director, Admissions Recruitment and Outreach to join our team. Responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to:

* Work with Director of Visitor Experience to strategically plan tour and tour center programming to maximize effectiveness to successfully reach university goals.
* Receive all escalated customer situations from Eagle Ambassadors when a customer asks to speak with a manager and ensures that all issued raised by customers are properly documented.
* Understand peak work periods and schedules ambassadors as necessary. Makes sure the visitors center and ESSC information desks are covered at all times.
* Collaborate with members of the university community and other team members to adequately, accurately, and positively represent all areas of campus.
* Provide updated data and reports to Director on a monthly basis providing ongoing evaluation and progress towards goals.
* Create presentations that will motivate and entertain visiting students and their families; as well as train the ambassadors to present these presentations effectively.

Minimum Qualifications
The successful candidate will possess a Bachelor's Degree in related field and four years of professional related experience; or any equivalent combination of education, training and experience. The following knowledge, skills, and abilities are required:

* Previous Admissions Office experience.
* Thorough knowledge of recruitment and admissions practices within a higher education setting.
* Thorough knowledge and experience working with a diverse student population.
* Ability to develop recruitment programs, create effective materials, and effectively plan and coordinate group events.
* Ability to work collaboratively and support diversity of prospective students, community, constituents, staff, faculty, and other parties connected to this position.
