The Department of Finance within the School of Business is seeking qualified applicants with broad expertise in the fields of Insurance, Risk Management, and Financial Planning to teach in the School's graduate and undergraduate programs.

The faculty is expected to teach in the school's graduate and undergraduate programs, conduct scholarly research in his/her discipline as well as providing services to the university community.

RMU offers faculty members an environment where teaching, research and service are supported and valued. Salaries are market competitive and commensurate with qualifications and experience. Anticipated start date is Fall, 2018 and dependent upon final budgetary approval.

Minimum Qualifications
Candidates should have earned Ph.D. in Risk Management and Insurance or a Ph.D. in Finance or closely related fields with concentration in risk management and/or insurance from an AACSB accredited institution. Candidates who are ABD may also be considered. CFP and other professional certifications, and prior experience in risk management, financial planning and/or insurance profession is preferable. Preference will be given to candidates who can also teach courses in Estate Planning, Retirement Planning, and the Financial Planning Capstone in addition to insurance and risk management. Applicants must demonstrate excellence in teaching as well as productivity in research in their discipline. The successful candidate must be qualified as a Scholarly Academic as defined by Robert Morris School of Business
