The School of Business is accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB). The Department of Accounting & Taxation within the School of Business is seeking qualified applicants with broad expertise in the field of Accounting to teach in the school's graduate and undergraduate programs.
The faculty is expected to teach in the school's graduate and undergraduate programs, conduct scholarly research in his/her discipline as well as providing services to the university community. Every teaching area in accounting will be considered; please indicate your teaching interest in the following areas: financial, cost/managerial, accounting information systems (AIS), auditing, tax, and data analytics.
RMU offers faculty members an environment where teaching, research and service are supported and valued. Salaries are market competitive and commensurate with qualifications and experience. Anticipated start date is Fall, 2018 and dependent upon final budgetary approval.

Candidates should have earned Ph.D. in Accounting from an AACSB accredited institution. Candidates who are ABD may be considered. Professional certifications are pluses. Applicants must demonstrate excellence in teaching as well as productivity in research in their discipline. The successful candidate must be qualified as a Scholarly Academic as defined by Robert Morris University School of Business.
