Minimum $42,167 ANNUAL (12 months)

Degree and Area of Specialization:

Bachelor's degree required, preferably in biological sciences, communications, or health related discipline.



Minimum number of years and type of relevant work experience:

A minimum of two years of substantial involvement in project management is preferred with UW
experience as a plus. Background in an academic research lab is preferred.

This position requires proven administrative capabilities, knowledge of research,
and strong verbal and written communication skills as well as a demonstrated commitment to
working in a collaborative environment. Must be proficient with Microsoft Excel and Word
and data management tools, and have the ability to develop complex spreadsheets and
grants-related reports.

Position Summary:

The George M. O'Brien Center for Urologic Research is in the Department of Urology and includes investigators in the School of Veterinary Medicine, School of Pharmacy, and the University of Massachusetts, Boston. The objective of the Center is to support and advance research of benign diseases of the lower urinary tract. The position will provide administrative support to the George M. O'Brien Center for Urologic Research Director, Dr. William Ricke.
