Position Summary: THIS POSITION IS BEING RE-POSTED PREVIOUS APPLICANTS ARE STILL BEING CONSIDERED AND NEED NOT REAPPLY. This work associated with this position includes using isolation and characterization of tumors and the tumor immune microenvironments. The person who fills this position will have multiple responsibilities: 1. To serve as the technical and functional expert in flow cytometry. 2. Collaborate and consult effectively with a large, dynamic team of clinical and research colleagues. 3. To manage and operate a BD cell sorter, flow cytometers, Miltenyi AutoMacs, Biomek FXp liquid-handling robot to prepare of next generation sequencing libraries. 4. Manipulate human and murine tumor, peripheral blood and other tissue samples for cellular immunology and immunogenomics studies. 5. Use bioinformatics techniques to analyze sequencing data and prepare data reports. 6. Perform independently with a high level of autonomy with oversight of laboratory equipment and databases. 7. Maintain inventories of supplies, reagents, and bio specimens with meticulous record-keeping required for Good Clinical Laboratory Practice. Major experimental goals will be to characterize circulating and tumor-infiltrating lymphocyte populations in human tumors, analysis of the genetic diversity of T cell receptor and B cell receptor repertoires, and gene-expression profiling of the tumor microenvironment using next-generation sequencing.

Qualification and Experience: Bachelor's degree in a discipline related to the area of assignment; or equivalent combination of training and experience. All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions.
