Position Summary: As the ADHD/LD Learning Specialist within this unit, the position leads campus efforts to support students with ADHD/LD, directs University ADHD LD-focused programs and policies, and serves as chief consultant for faculty, staff, administrators, and parents regarding effective ADHD/LD support and strategies. This position also leads Learning Center staff education and programing around ADHD/LD issues and provides individual coaching appointments to students who voluntarily seek support, especially to those with ADHD/LD concerns.

Education Requirements: Master's degree in education, counseling, psychology or related field. Ph.D. preferred.
Qualification and Experience: At least three-five years of experience in a college or university (preferably a 4-year institution) providing support to students with learning differences. Knowledge of academic coaching pedagogy, ADHD/LD testing, diagnoses, documentation, accommodations processes, and support strategies critical.
