MANAGING DIRECTOR RESEARCH AND COMMUNICATIONS
Duties: The Managing Director of Research and Communication (MDRC) will have primary responsibility for managing the research and scholarship operations of the FOCUS program. The MDRC will assist the FOCUS Executive Director and other FOCUS Directors (Research, Professional Development, Operations) with the execution and strategic planning related to all FOCUS and FOCUS-related local and national initiatives. The MDRC will also support communication strategies, including developing a social media presence as well as presenting FOCUS in local and national venues.
Qualifications: Master's degree with 3 to 5 years experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience required.
Documented skill in: research process and management; scholarly/professional writing; organization/strategic planning; public speaking; grant development and implementation; self-starter and ability to work collaboratively with others but also work autonomously when appropriate; and an interest or expertise (preferred) in women's leadership/women's health.
