Job description

Duties: This position is the restricted funds manager for the Wharton School. The position provides oversight to endowment, term, and grant funds. The position is responsible for setting up all new gift funds, analyzing spend, investigating ad hoc requests, and carrying out actions related to fund usage. The position also serves as the grant manager of the School. This requires in depth knowledge of the sponsored project administrative policies at Penn. You will review all grant proposals as well as work with PIs when there are interim BA outages at the School. The position will analyze sponsored project activity and provide guidance to the BA community.

Qualifications: A Bachelor's Degree and 3 to 5 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience is required. Proven strong financial, analytical and modeling skills. Demonstrated decision-making and problem solving ability as well as excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and customer service oriented. Capability to independently lead multiple projects from design through final presentation. Ability to work under demanding timelines. Ability to see the big picture while effectively analyzing details. Due to the client services nature of the business, the ability to maintain a strong professional appearance is required.
