Job description

Duties: Serves as administrative support in the Hematology Oncology Breast program. Supports the academic needs of multiple physicians and research staff. Manages physician Outlook calendar, coordinates meetings, schedules conference calls, assists research team by scheduling meetings, submits reimbursements from physicians to Concur, communicates with ACC, CCEB, and Division to manage accounts, submits expenses to outside organizations to reimburse physicians for meeting participation, travel, etc., assists physicians in planning business travel, makes hotel reservations, identify flights, schedule meetings and assist in arranging physician coverage, assists in research administration including written communications (written, email) with pharmaceutical companies, IRB, CRU, ACC, arranges food for research conferences, arranges travel for visiting researchers, assists with preparing grant submissions and preparing research meeting presentations (posters, powerpoint), manages physician correspondence retrieves, opens, organizes, and sends mail, initiate and/or follow-up on provider to provider communication, retrieve and facilitate fax correspondence, updates and manages FEDs, other duties as assigned

Qualifications: High School diploma and 3 to 5 years of clerical office experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required; proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and related technologies
