Requirements:  Doctorate in Music (DMA, DM, DA, PhD) is required. Candidates who are ABD with May/August 2018 graduation dates will be considered.

Responsibilities: The successful candidate will conduct the Concert Choir, teach voice to majors and non-majors, serve as the vocal director for musical theatre productions (including summer productions), and teach supporting courses in the curriculum, depending upon the candidate’s area of expertise and the needs of the program. The candidate will also take an active role in recruitment and retention. He/she must possess the ability to work collegially with faculty colleagues, area choral directors, community musicians, and alumni. The candidate is expected to engage in active research and creative activities while maintaining meaningful service at the department, college, and university levels. Candidates must be flexible and able to teach and motivate students with a wide range of abilities.
