The tenure-track assistant professor will be responsible for developing a rigorous research program in a lab to be housed at the Lake Erie Center (LEC), teach undergraduate and graduate level courses and perform service activity to the department, college, university, and profession. The candidate should have broad knowledge of the Great Lakes system, some experience with grant writing and supervision of students, and an ability to work collegially.A Ph.D. ideally with post-doctoral experience, in Earth, Environmental Science, or Biology, or related discipline.Superior skills at working with faculty, students and staff. Successful grant writing.
