The Department of Pediatrics Section of Hospital Medicine has an opening for an Instructor or Assistant Professor to join our team. Academic rank, shifts and full or part time status will be determined upon hire and depend upon previous academic experience, section shift and coverage needs.
Examples of Work Performed
- Care of pediatric patients admitted to general pediatric wards or observation units at the Children's Hospital Colorado and its Network of Care.
- Care of well newborns and newborns admitted to a Level 2 NICU.
- Routine newborn circumcision, lumbar puncture, procedural sedation.
PLEASE NOTE: Candidates will be responsible for travel expenses related to the interview process and any relocation expenses, if applicable.
Salary and Benefits:
The hiring salary for this position is negotiable and commensurate with skills and experience. This position is not eligible for overtime compensation.

- Experience in Hospital Medicine
- Experience in newborn care
- Experience in NICU
- Experience in teaching residents and/or medical students
- Experience in Quality Improvement work or Patient Safety work
