Dean of the School of Nursing
Tusculum University, Tennessee’s first institution of higher learning, is seeking applications for the Dean of the School of Nursing. The Dean of the School of Nursing shall be the administrative head of the School and will be responsible for the development and continuous assessment and management of curricula, faculty, staff, budget, class enrollments relative to faculty and other resources, growth and development of School programs, positive leadership of faculty, and effective operations within the School. The Dean will secure internal and external funding to support existing and developing programs within the School. The Dean will ensure the professional development of the faculty and staff within the Tusculum College of Health Sciences.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:
Preferred qualifications are an earned doctorate degree (or in process) in nursing or a related field from an accredited institution and five years of successful nursing practice and administrative/teaching experience with demonstrated knowledge and experience in test construction and analysis, clinical contract negotiation, grant writing and the promotion of faculty development in teaching, scholarship and service. Minimum qualifications include a Master’s Degree with a major in nursing from an accredited college or university and three years’ experience of full-time teaching and/or administrative positions in an approved school of professional nursing and current licensure or license eligibility as a registered nurse in Tennessee.
